Booking and Deposit

When booking a vessel through the rentaboat.rs website, a deposit payment of 20% to 50% of the total rental price is required, depending on the selected vessel and the owner’s specific terms.
A booking is considered confirmed only upon the successful registration of the deposit payment.
Unless otherwise specified for a particular vessel, the deposit payment shall be made via electronic transfer to the designated account.

Booking Confirmation

Upon registration of the deposit, the user will receive a booking confirmation in electronic form, containing all relevant details regarding the vessel rental.
The user is obliged to verify the accuracy of the information in the booking confirmation and report any discrepancies as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a cancellation, the user is required to notify rentaboat.rs at the earliest opportunity.

The terms for cancellation and refunds are as follows:

  • In the case of adverse weather conditions or other circumstances that prevent safe navigation, the deposit shall be refunded in full, or the booking may be rescheduled to another available date by mutual agreement.
  • In the case of cancellation more than 30 days before the scheduled date, the deposit is refunded in full, unless otherwise specified for the specific vessel.
  • In the case of cancellation less than 30 days before the scheduled date, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • In the case of cancellation within 24 hours before the scheduled time, the user is liable to pay 80% of the total rental amount.
  • In the case of a cancellation on the day of the booking or a no-show, the user is liable to pay 100% of the total rental amount.

Booking Modifications

Should the user wish to modify the date, time, or other booking details, they must contact rentaboat.rs as soon as possible.

Modifications are subject to vessel availability and the discretion of the vessel owner.

Vessel Condition and Security Deposit

Upon taking possession of the vessel, an inspection may be conducted to document any existing damage.

The user is obliged to return the vessel in the same condition in which it was received.

In the event of any damage occurring, the user shall bear the costs of repairs or compensation for damages.

For certain vessels, an additional security deposit may be required, of which the user will be informed in advance.

User Responsibility

The user is responsible for the proper and safe operation of the vessel during the rental period.

The user is obliged to comply with all applicable laws, navigation rules, and safety regulations of the Republic of Serbia.

Operating the vessel under the influence of alcohol, psychoactive substances, or any other means that may impair the ability to navigate is strictly prohibited.

Intermediary Role of the Platform

The website rentaboat.rs may act as an intermediary between the user and the vessel owner.

For certain vessels, the owner may impose additional terms of use, of which the user will be informed in a timely manner.
